A very brief post to explain why there have not been more recently…. We have been going ‘responsive’! Since nearly 50% of the world now accesses the internet via their mobile ‘device’ Google has decided to penalise any website which is not ‘responsive’ or mobile friendly – in other words which do not ‘scale down’ into a legible, mobile size and shape.
This is a bit of hassle for any site but when you have 8 sites and knocking on 5,000 pages on them, this is a major undertaking…. We got the FreeFrom Eating Out Awards site up in the middle of last month ready for its opening last Monday – and now we have got FoodsMatter up – although there are still many change and improvements to come.
However, any feedback as to look, ease of navigability – and how it looks on your phone! – would be greatly appreciated!
