I have just seen that Tom Watson, Labour MP for West Bromwich East, will be asking a question in the House of Commons on the afternoon of Monday 20th December about the health effects of mobile phones.
I know it is very late in the day, but an email to your MP asking him/her if they will be present at the debate and whether they will support any precautionary measures suggested would be very helpful.
If you do not already know, you can find your MP and their contact details by putting in your postcode at the Find your MP site. If it of any use as a guide I have just sent the following brief email to our MP, Frank Dobson:
Dear Mr Dobson –
I understand that the Right Honourable Mr Tom Watson will be asking a question in the House on Monday afternoon (20th December) about the effect of mobile phones on human health.
I know that this is a hotly debated topic but I believe that the evidence mobile telephony could have potentially disastrous effects on human health is now so significant that it cannot be ignored. Just a tiny fraction of this evidence is to be found on our website at http://www.foodsmatter.com/es/mobile_phones_and_masts/index_es_mobiles_masts.html
I very much hope both that you will be attending the debate and that you will be supporting any precautionary measures that may be suggested.
Yours sincerely,
