Random……

08/03/2020 //  by Michelle//  Leave a Comment

I am conscious that it is is four days since I blogged and I apologise to those who are wondering where I have gone…. There was actually a book review scheduled for yesterday but for various reasons that got delayed. So just to prove that both the heath and I are still here, a few random images from the last few weeks. First, walking down Swain’s Lane on one of the hot days last week, this great cottage at the entrance to Highgate West Cemetery with such an entrancing collection of chimney pots. And its brilliant scarlet garden baking in the sun. And then a little further down, the delightful coolth of the cemetery itself. Very early morning sun slanting through the bull rushes by the boating pond. And then in Kenwood Wood one day – this lovely sea of ferns….

My daily blog now has an Instagram account! WalksonHampsteadHeath – the idea being to widen the circle of people who might enjoy a daily ramble across the heath. Please follow us and pass on the news!!
