Walking with the waves

06/13/2016 //  by Michelle//  Leave a Comment

Before I went down to Dublin for the Irish awards presentation last week I spent a couple of days out on the west coast with my cousin who lives in the far west of County Leitrim. Leitrim has probably the lowest population of any county in Ireland and does spend much of the year shrouded in gentle rain – the ‘misht’ as it is known locally. But when the sun shines it is stunningly beautiful – the more so for having it almost entirely to oneself.

So just to show you what I mean and to allow you, at least vicariously, to share the peace, here we are on Tullan strand just north of Bundoran: the three of us, three dogs – and the sea….
