‘Beat’ Eating Disorders

05/24/2011 //  by Michelle//  Leave a Comment

It is not strictly speaking our area, but I have always admired the work done by beat, the charity supporting those with eating disorders.  So I am delighted to see that they have now launched a new website to support those caring for people with eating disorders – www.b-eat-carers.co.uk

As anyone who had ever ‘cared’ will know, caring can be an exhausting, stressful and lonely job. Support is often desperately needed and rarely forthcoming as attention is, with some justification, focused on the person who is ill. So well done Beat for thinking of carers – and may they have much success in their work.
