More trees – and swans

06/16/2020 //  by Michelle//  Leave a Comment

Do you remember those little cygnets of only a few weeks ago? Just look how they have grown. (With thanks to one of our readers for the picture.) I wonder if that is the widowed swan lady with her new partner…

Meanwhile, a few more trees for you but this time not Mr Drori’s trees, but Hampstead trees. Two of our climbing trees. This is climbing tree one, which you have seen before. Apart from being the most amazing climbing tree it is right at the crossroads of about six paths so is a great landmark if you want to meet up with suitably socially distanced friends.

And this is climbing tree two – designed for a slightly younger age group being rather lower and easier both to clamber onto – and be rescued off.

And then just a couple of stunning trees. A forest guardian…

…and a sinuous lady…

My daily blog now has an Instagram account! WalksonHampsteadHeath – the idea being to widen the circle of people who might enjoy a daily ramble across the heath. Please follow us and pass on the news!!

You will get an email asking you to confirm your subscription but if it does not appear, check your junk box as the emails are often seen as spam.
