Fresh Air Fund – helping New York’s inner city children

You may remember that a couple of months ago I posted about the Fresh Air Fund charity that arranges holidays for inner city New York children from low-income families out in the country with host families.

For any US readers of this blog – I have jsut had an update from the Fresh Air Fund  saying that they have found 650 families happy to host a child for two weeks in the country but they need 200 more for this summer – and time is running out….
