I think this could have been this time last year – long before ‘social distancing’ had been invented.
And even these dog walkers just breasting the hill were exercising their dogs in March when COVID was still something that the Chinese were worrying about – not us…
This short video was taken from the bench just on the other side of those trees. And I apologise for the amount of bush, but I was trying to locate the birds – without success!

This one, found in Springett’s Wood, I see as a tall lady in a long, charcoal grey skirt gliding across the clearing……
