Hampstead Heath in the sun

03/16/2020 //  by Michelle//  4 Comments

The media output at 8am this morning was filled with doom and gloom – but – the sun was shining for the first time in days. And, in my new residence, I genuinely am only 4 minutes walk from Hampstead Heath. How was I to resist.

So, hopefully to cheer your morning…. A bank of daffodils in front of Kenwood house, fluttering and dancing in the breeze…

Some early morning enthusiasts in an exercise class, bunny hopping up the steps set into the bank…

A huge white magnolia in almost full flower on the lawns below Kenwood house….

And finally, one of the overflow ponds in the Kenwood woods, mirroring blue sky and overhanging wintery branches – with early spring irises just pushing through the muddy brown waters by the bank…..
