Late summer birdsong

It has been such a miserable soggy few days that I thought a gentle wander through the woods with some late summer bird song might just raise the spirits.

Ever consider getting a good pair of binoculars & a decent bird guide? I bet you could get hooked on birding.

Now you’re talking! The trouble is that I have always really struggled with binoculars. By the time I would have got them focused and got anywhere near the bird it would be half way to you in California!
