A decidedly random selection of images this evening prompted first by Ruth who wanted to put those abundant clematis into context….
Isn’t that acer just an amazing colour. Surprisingly I don’t really miss my garden at Lawn Road at all, but I do rather regret my acer which would be just that vibrant acid gold now too.
…and then by the husband of another regular reader who wanted to reassure us that the swan mum was still doing well and peacefully incubating her eggs.
…and then by me wanting to share the filigree leaves of this tree up on Parliament Hill.
And finally my attempt to share the sounds of the wind rustling the leaves of the trees in the valley to the south of Kenwood – although I fear that iPhones are not that keen on winds so instead sibilant rustling you are getting rather scratchy interference! Fortunately the wind did not penetrate very far and the birds took over.
