Last leaves? Probably not, but nearing the end

11/11/2020 //  by Michelle//  1 Comment

The golden sovereign tree – just what the government needs right now.

Better than blood on the floor which is what this lovely maple outside Highgate school might give them.

In gentler mood – the beech avenue running up to Hampstead village.

And because walking through the leaves is such a  crucial part of autumn, another long walk through the Kenwood woods, this one ending where the one a couple of days ago started – accompanied by lots of leaf scrunching and mud squelching noises. Not to mention the paraqueets. They seemed to be having a fearsome argument? Positively deafening.

Finally, a muted screen of beech leaves.
