Well, more bark than trees really.
I saw this rather splendid trunk as I was walking through Kenwood yesterday, looking to me rather like a massive Yale key.
This one comes from a few weeks ago in Springett’s Wood – a lady (or maybe just a tree) clad in crushed gun metal grey Chinese silk twisting to see who is coming down the stairs.
Rather more down to earth, but maybe more fun – I wonder who built this double wigwam up in the woods below Athlone House?
And finally, a short walk through the ivy clad undergrowth near the Ladies’ pond.
