There is a massive hole at the base of the trunk….
…which looks even more impressive from the other side from where you can see daylight light through.
Get up really close and you will find that although I could not climb in, a small child could – as could my phone….
That is one massive tree to be supported on the shell of a trunk……
Meanwhile, on my way down to the tree, although it was a rather grey morning, the birds were in very full voice.
