As those of you who also receive mailings from my Salon’s blog will know, I was asked some months ago if I could help to arrange some chamber music concerts for the Highgate Festival in June.
Since the festival starts on the 19th June and all COVID restrictions on live performances are scheduled to be lifted on the 21st June, we have gone for broke and set up four live chamber concerts all of which will take place in Highgate School’s lovely Victorian Gothic chapel – on the 21st, 22nd, 25th and 27th June.
Other performances, by the London Mozart Players and Chineke!, are also planned but details are not yet available. However, for those of you who would like to secure seats early, as we are not yet sure how socially distanced audiences may need to be so how many we can accommodate, here are the booking details:
21st June – The Corran String Quartet
Bartók – String Quartet No. 1 in A minor
Dvorák String Quartet No. 11 in F Minor ‘The American’

22nd June – The Korros Ensemble
