Snow……

12/13/2022 //  by Michelle//  2 Comments

My path down to the heath yesterday – the men’s pond looking very bleak and uninviting, snow on some of the willows which, bizarrely, have still not lost their leaves – and a stream hiding beneath the snowy branches.

Closer to home, my garden – pond frozen over, Tawny Pipit and the patio furniture all blanketed in snow – and the view over my neighbours’ (including Mr Usmanov’s) gardens.

And for those who would like a moment’s quiet watching, here are the birds stoking up against the cold.

Finally a rather sad young fig tree who arrived yesterday having obviously got thoroughly chilled on the way. Do you think he will recover?…..

Beautiful tho. And I’m sure the fig is resilient enough to come through this!
